Biography
Ennio was born and raised in Trieste, Italy. In the mid 1990s he started his career as a rock singer and after that he soon joined the Stargazer Band as lead singer for a one year Tour of North Italy.
But rock was not enough for Ennio and in 1997 he started his training at the Conservatorio di Musica G. Tartini in Trieste.
In the same year he started to work for the G. Verdi Opera Theatre as an actor and there he discovered his love for the stage as a unique way of performing where singing, acting and movement meld together.
Ennio continued his career further by recording the demo album for the bands ‘Virose’ and ‘State O’ Mind’; performing as Otto in the operetta ‘Eden Tabaren’; as Jesus in a production of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’; as lead in a telethon charity show ‘Steps Through the Musical’; and many others.
In 2002 he directed and played the lead role of Pinkie in the show ‘Behind the Wall’ at the Slovenian Theatre in Trieste. The venue was sold out.
In the same year he left the Conservatory of Music and Italy to continue his career in London where he furthered his training at the Central School of Speech & Drama.
Since leaving college Ennio has been performing in different shows including, ‘The 2005 Thursford Christmas Spectacular’; the Opera ‘Rigoletto’ at the Royal Albert Hall; and he created the role of Greg Orlov in the new musical ‘Czarinas’, to name a few. Most recently he has appeared as Jaques in the show ‘Cirque d’Hoffmann’ and is currently performing in concerts and gigs around Italy and London.
